How much does a website cost in Nigeria? A 2026 price guide

Real prices for landing pages, business websites, conversion websites and online stores in Nigeria, what changes the price, and what should be included.

Ask three developers what a website costs and you may get three very different numbers. Usually they are not pricing the same thing. One is quoting a template with your logo on it, another a custom site with content and integrations, a third an online store. This guide uses our own published prices to show what each kind of website costs, and why.

The short answer

These are Tekora’s starting prices from October 2026. A starting price is the floor for a focused scope; your proposal gives the fixed price for yours.

Why two quotes for “a website” can be so far apart

The difference between websites isn’t the number of pages. It’s what the site is for, and how hard it has to work for your business. A page that promotes one offer, a site that presents a whole organisation and a site built to generate leads are three different jobs, priced differently.

Within each kind of website, these are the things that move the price most:

  • Unique page designs, not total pages. Twenty service pages that share one design cost far less than twenty different layouts
  • Who writes the content. Copy that sells takes real time, whether you write it or we do
  • Integrations such as payments, booking, a CRM or WhatsApp
  • Content management: whether your team needs to edit the site, and with which permissions
  • Custom illustration, animation or photography direction

Landing page: ₦250,000 to ₦800,000 and above

A landing page is built around one audience, one offer and one primary goal, usually for an ad campaign, a launch, an event or a waitlist. Most of ours fall between ₦250k and ₦500k. Advanced, high-conversion landing pages run from ₦500k to ₦800k and above.

If you are running ads to your homepage, a landing page is often the cheapest improvement you can make. See landing page development.

Business website: ₦500,000 to ₦2.5 million and above

A business website gives customers, partners and funders a complete picture of who you are, what you do and how to reach you: typically Home, About, Services, Work, Contact and FAQ pages, with an optional blog. Our price ranges:

  • Starter business website: ₦500k to ₦800k
  • Professional business website: ₦800k to ₦1.5m
  • Premium or corporate website: ₦1.5m to ₦2.5m and above

A typical business website takes four to eight weeks from kickoff to launch. See business website development.

Conversion website: ₦750,000 to ₦3 million and above

A conversion website is planned around how your buyers decide, with a page for each service, case studies, lead capture and tracking that shows which channel produced which enquiry. It makes most sense for businesses already paying for traffic through ads or SEO. Most fall between ₦750k and ₦1.5m; advanced conversion websites run from ₦1.5m to ₦3m and above. See conversion website development.

E-commerce website: from ₦850,000

An online store adds a product catalogue, cart, checkout with Paystack or Flutterwave, order management and delivery settings. The three levels usually mean:

  • Standard, ₦850k to ₦1.5m: a focused catalogue, cart and checkout with online payment, order management and delivery set up for how you ship
  • Advanced, ₦1.5m to ₦4m and above: larger catalogues, custom design and journeys, customer accounts, stock by size or colour, and integrations with delivery, accounting or marketing tools
  • Complex, ₦4m and above: multi-vendor marketplaces, several locations or warehouses, trade pricing and custom commerce logic, delivered in releases

See e-commerce development for what is included.

What usually isn’t in the price

Some costs are paid to other providers rather than to the developer. A good proposal lists them so nothing surprises you later:

  • Hosting and domain registration
  • Payment gateway fees
  • Email and SMS services
  • Software subscriptions and API usage
  • VAT, where it applies

Wherever possible, these accounts should be set up in your name, so your website never depends on one supplier.

What you should get for your money

Whoever you hire, check that the quote covers more than the build. At minimum, ask for:

  • A written scope and a fixed price for that scope, with changes agreed in writing before they happen
  • Ownership of the code, designs, content and domain, with no lock-in
  • A site tested on the phones and mobile networks your customers actually use
  • Search foundations: page speed, metadata, structured data and a sitemap
  • Analytics connected to the actions that matter, such as enquiries and orders
  • A documented handover, so any future developer can pick up where the last one stopped

How to get an accurate price

Start with what the website must achieve, not a list of pages. Tell us who it is for, what you want visitors to do and roughly what you plan to spend. The first conversation is free. After it, you receive a written scope, a dated plan and a fixed price.

Not sure which kind of website you need? Compare them on our web development page, or tell us about your project.
